Role Overview :

We are looking for a Monitoring / Data Operations Engineer to support the companys data infrastructure and monitoring systems. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring traders, researchers, and analysts receive accurate, timely, and reliable data for investment and trading decisions.

The role involves monitoring data pipelines, validating data quality, maintaining data systems, and ensuring smooth and secure data flow across the organization. In simple terms, the team acts as the data supply chain of the company.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor and maintain data pipelines, feeds, and automated data workflows.

- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of market and financial data.

- Collect, clean, organize, and validate data received from exchanges, vendors, and external providers.

- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to missing, delayed, or incorrect data.

- Support traders, quant researchers, and analysts with timely data availability.

- Monitor system alerts, logs, and platform health to ensure uninterrupted operations.

- Work closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve system stability and performance.

- Maintain dashboards, reporting systems, and monitoring tools.

- Assist in building scalable and secure systems for fast data delivery across the firm.

- Ensure data operations follow security, compliance, and operational best practices.

- Create documentation for monitoring processes, workflows, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and data processing concepts.

- Familiarity with Linux environments and monitoring tools is preferred.

- Knowledge of Python or scripting languages for automation is a plus.

- Ability to work with large datasets and identify operational issues quickly.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with financial market data or trading systems.

- Exposure to monitoring tools, dashboards, or data infrastructure platforms.
