Looking for an experienced Firmware Test Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in embedded firmware testing, automation, and communication protocols.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in embedded systems, RF/BLE communication, C#/.NET-based test automation, CI/CD environments, and Azure DevOps, with hands-on experience testing IoT or connected devices.

Immediate joiners who can work from the Bangalore office are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform firmware functional testing for embedded systems.

- Validate communication protocols, firmware state machines, and device behavior.

- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using C#/.NET.

- Execute testing on radio communication systems, BLE, and IoT devices.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated regression environments.

- Manage test cases and execution using Azure DevOps.

Required Skills :

- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and debugging.

- Experience testing communication protocols and firmware state machines.

- Knowledge of RTOS-based systems (e.g., FreeRTOS) is desirable.

- Understanding of RF fundamentals including RSSI, sensitivity, bandwidth, and modulation.

- Experience with Serial communication, BLE, OTA firmware upgrade/rollback, and battery-operated devices.

- Strong programming skills in C#/.NET.

- Experience with automation framework development and maintenance.

- Hands-on experience with sub-GHz radios, BLE, or IoT devices.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments.

- Experience with Azure DevOps Test Management.
