About the Role :

We are looking for a Junior Machine Learning Engineer with strong skills in Python and SQL, along with hands-on exposure to Machine Learning concepts and model development. The candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to develop analytical and ML-driven solutions for banking and retail banking use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy Machine Learning models for business use cases

- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, transformation, and feature engineering

- Work on Regression and Classification models using structured datasets

- Build and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis

- Integrate ML models and external systems using APIs

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions

- Monitor model performance and improve model accuracy over time

- Work with large datasets and ensure data quality and consistency

- Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation for stakeholders

Required Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Python

- Good hands-on experience with SQL

- Familiarity with ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, or similar

- Understanding of Machine Learning concepts including :

i. Regression

ii. Classification

iii. Model evaluation techniques

- Experience in Data Preprocessing and Feature Engineering

- Knowledge of API Integration and handling data pipelines

- Basic understanding of Retail Banking domain and banking datasets

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to cloud platforms or ML deployment is an added advantage

- Experience working with dashboards or visualization tools is preferred

- Understanding of banking products, customer analytics, or risk models will be beneficial

Qualification : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
