We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality backend solutions.

In this role, you will guide the engineering team, make key technical decisions, and ensure that our Java-based applications are scalable, secure, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of Java developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical mentorship.

- Own technical design and architecture discussions and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Establish development best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and related technologies.

- Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

- Work closely with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases.

- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and estimation.

- Ensure timely delivery of software components with strong focus on quality.

- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot production issues.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure adherence to testing and deployment best practices.

- Improve system observability through monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with at least 2+ years in a lead/mentoring role.

- Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.

- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

- Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills
