Role Overview :

We're looking for a Java Technical Lead with a strong background in cloud-native application development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience architecting microservices on Microsoft Azure, implementing DevOps pipelines, and leading cross-functional teams in an Agile setup.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build cloud applications & microservices for scalable, reusable solutions

- Implement microservice architecture across Olam Digital projects

- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive best practices

- Define and execute automated test strategies to ensure delivery quality

- Support CI/CD and DevOps processes to enable continuous delivery

- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (tech, business, product, country teams)

- Own solution execution aligned to SLAs, KPIs, and business goals

- Write clear, efficient code with supporting tests and documentation

- Recommend tools and platforms for robust and scalable implementations

- Drive performance tuning, caching strategies, and handle system security

- Set up and manage DR (Disaster Recovery) and data archiving processes

- Provide regular status reports to business and technology stakeholders

Core Skills :

Primary :

- Java Microservices

Requirements :

- 7+ years of total experience; minimum 8 years in relevant Java-based development

- 7+ years in a solution architect role (preferably on Microsoft Azure)

- Strong knowledge of Azure services, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and SQL databases

- Proficient with DevOps tools : Jenkins, Git, Sonar, Selenium, JIRA

- Experience in handling security vulnerabilities, disaster recovery, and data lifecycle management

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

- Domain knowledge in commodities (Agri, Energy, or Metals) is a plus
