Java Technical Architect - Spring Boot

About the Role :

We are seeking a Technical Architect with deep expertise in digital services, cloud-native architecture, and microservices to lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative fintech solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape next-generation enterprise applications in a fast-paced environment, working closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions, particularly in fintech and digital banking domains.

- Drive solution development using Java Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and other modern technology stacks.

- Champion API-first and event-driven design principles to build robust digital ecosystems.

- Oversee cloud-based deployment strategies and ensure effective data migration and security implementations.

- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and architects, ensuring technical alignment and quality delivery.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define system capabilities, and guide integration strategies.

- Enforce architectural best practices across the development lifecycle, from solution design to deployment.

- Address scalability, performance, and security concerns in enterprise-grade fintech systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 12 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architect role within fintech or financial services.

- Strong background in solution design and architecture for cloud-native and microservices-based platforms.

- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus, REST APIs, PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS), Kubernetes, and Kafka.

- Hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Solid understanding of architecture and design patterns: microservices, API-first, event-driven, composable architecture.

- Proven ability to deliver full-stack solutions covering application, data, infrastructure, and security.

- Certifications in TOGAF and/or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in lending, transaction banking, or broader fintech solutions.

- Familiarity with enterprise software integration patterns, particularly in financial services.

- Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

- Working knowledge of MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and similar technologies.
