Job Summary :

We are looking for a Java/Scala Data Engineer with strong experience in backend development, distributed systems, messaging platforms, and data engineering. The role involves building scalable applications and data solutions using Java, Scala, Spring Boot, Kafka/MQ, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Java, Scala, and Spring Boot.

- Design and implement message-driven architectures using Kafka or MQ.

- Build scalable and reliable data processing and integration solutions.

- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes.

- Write and optimize complex SQL/database queries.

- Develop automation scripts using Shell scripting or Python on Unix/Linux environments.

- Troubleshoot performance and production issues and implement scalable solutions.

- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Java/Scala Data Engineering or Backend Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Scala, and Spring Boot.

- Experience with Kafka/MQ and message-based architectures.

- Good knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments.

- Strong SQL and database skills.

- Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell/Python scripting.

- Good understanding of distributed systems, data processing, and application performance.
