Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to drive the design and development of scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Oracle database, along with experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-grade applications.

This role involves working closely with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to design high-performance applications that support the bank's digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions with high scalability and reliability.

- Design and optimize database solutions using Oracle Database.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

- Review code, conduct design reviews, and ensure high quality deliverables.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability and performance.

- Participate in architecture discussions and technology roadmap planning.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Java development (Core Java).

- Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

- Experience working with Oracle Database / SQL / PL-SQL.

- Experience in REST APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise application design.

- Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Experience in leading development teams and managing technical deliverables.

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience in banking or financial services domain (preferred but not mandatory).

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
