Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to build and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and React. This is a full-time, on-site role in Bangalore, with five days a week in the office. Candidates should have 6+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain application features using Java and Spring Boot/Spring MVC, with front-end technologies including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and web services; work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively with development, QA, and DevOps teams.

- Apply GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI-assisted tools to support code generation, refactoring, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Use AI capabilities to create Cucumber test scenarios, SQL queries, API documentation, and technical specifications, while validating outputs for accuracy, security, and coding-standard compliance.

- Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation across the software development lifecycle and evaluate tools that can improve engineering efficiency and delivery timelines.

Requirements :

- Strong Java proficiency and extensive experience with Spring MVC; familiarity with Spring Boot and React.

- Solid understanding of front-end fundamentals, RESTful services, databases, and Git.

- Hands-on experience with Copilot and prompt engineering to improve development productivity and code quality.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with an understanding of secure coding and responsible AI practices.

Preferred :

- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, testing, code quality analysis, and development automation.
