Java Full Stack Architect/Lead Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Full Stack Architect / Lead Engineer with deep expertise in Java, Spring ecosystem, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks.

This role requires strong hands-on capabilities, architectural thinking, and the ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Core Technical Skills :

- Design and develop end-to-end full stack solutions using Java and modern frontend frameworks

- Define architecture, solution blueprints, and design patterns for enterprise-grade systems

- Build and maintain scalable microservices and distributed systems

- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architectural decisions

- Develop secure, high-performance REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, DevOps, and client stakeholders

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and observability

- Mentor team members and drive engineering excellence and code quality

- Expert in Java 8+, with deep understanding of JVM internals, GC, memory management, and performance tuning

- Advanced knowledge of concurrency (Executor/ForkJoin, locks, concurrent collections, non-blocking programming)

- Strong grasp of Java Memory Model and multi-threaded design

- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Batch

- Hands-on experience with API development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL)

- Strong knowledge of API governance, versioning, and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)

- Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, TLS/mTLS, and secure coding practices (OWASP)

- Experience with Spring Cloud components (Config, Gateway, Circuit Breaker, Service Discovery)

- Strong experience in microservices architecture and event-driven systems

- Deep understanding of distributed system concepts (CAP theorem, eventual consistency, Saga patterns)

- Hands-on experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQ)

- Knowledge of service mesh and reliability patterns

- Expertise in SOLID principles, DDD, and Hexagonal Architecture

- Strong experience with enterprise design patterns (MVC, DAO, DTO, CQRS, Saga, Circuit Breaker, etc.)

- Ability to design systems for scalability, fault tolerance, and performance

- Experience in capacity planning, caching, sharding, and load balancing

- Strong focus on observability and monitoring strategies

- Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases

- Experience with Hibernate/JPA optimization, schema design, and transaction management

- Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), Helm

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible)

- Expertise in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, TestContainers)

- Understanding of TDD/BDD and contract testing

- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)

- Exposure to GenAI/LLM tools for SDLC automation is a plus

- Strong experience with React or Angular

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript

- Experience integrating frontend with backend via REST/WebSockets

- Familiarity with frontend build and testing tools (Webpack, NPM, Jest, Cypress)

- Strong emphasis on design thinking, architectural reasoning, and code correctness

- Ability to explain trade-offs (e.g., scalability vs maintainability, consistency vs availability)

- Experience solving problems related to distributed systems, concurrency, and observability

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 to 13 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development

- Strong hands-on expertise across backend, frontend, and cloud technologies

- Proven experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-scale applications

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with client-side architects and stakeholders
