Java Developer - Spring/Hibernate

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications that meet business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, efficient software solutions and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy robust Java-based applications and services.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and support.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for improved performance.

- Integrate third-party APIs and develop RESTful web services.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and technical specifications.

- Stay updated with emerging Java technologies and industry trends to implement innovative solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience in Java development (Java 8+ preferred).

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

- Proficient with relational databases and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

- Knowledge of version control tools (Git).

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
