Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer with deep expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Cloud platforms, and end-to-end solution design. The ideal candidate will drive technical leadership, architecture decisions, code quality, and mentor development teams while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale, high-performance microservices.

- Provide architectural guidance using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

- Drive best practices in coding standards, architecture patterns, CI/CD, and DevOps automation.

- Review code, enforce standards, and ensure technical excellence across the team.

Design & Development :

- Build scalable, robust, and secure applications using Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and related frameworks.

- Design event-driven and message-based communication using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.

- Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS / Azure / GCP.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and observability.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams.

- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery management.

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Mentoring & Team Management :

- Guide junior and mid-level developers.

- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and provide technical coaching.

- Ensure team productivity, engineering quality, and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Microservices.

- In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, API design, and OAuth2/JWT security.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).

- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and microservices patterns.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architecture.

- Exposure to serverless technologies.

- Knowledge of Terraform, Helm, or other IaC tools.
