Job Title : Java Developer (Microservices + Node.js + Migration Experience).

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong backend development skills in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) and hands-on experience with Node.js.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in migrating applications from Node.js to Java-based Microservices, coupled with knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD, and containerized deployments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices.

- Migrate existing backend components from Node.js to Java (Spring Boot).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and technical solutions.

- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability through best practices in coding and architecture.

- Participate in design reviews and code reviews.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.

- Develop REST APIs and ensure seamless integration between services.

- Deploy applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- Write unit and integration tests using tools like JUnit, Mockito, etc.

- Maintain code quality and documentation as per best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Proficient in Node.js with direct experience in migration projects to Java.

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases (e., MySQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred/Good to Have :

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers.

- Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, or event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
