Java Backend Developer - J2EE/Spring Boot

Description :

- We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.

- Work on database design, SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- Implement message-based integrations using Kafka / RabbitMQ (as required).

- Ensure application scalability, security, resilience, and high availability.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams frontend, QA, DevOps to deliver features.

- Write clean, testable code and build unit/integration tests.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud environments.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Java 8+ / Java 11 / Java 17

- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate

- Experience in Microservices architecture and distributed systems

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs design and implementation

- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.)

- Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ, or other messaging systems (optional but preferred)

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)

- Understanding of cloud services : AWS / Azure / GCP / OCI

- Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT

- Experience with API Gateway, Service Registry, Config Server

- Exposure to GraphQL, Redis, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana

- Experience with performance tuning and scalability design patterns
