About the Role :

Finneva is looking for a Java + AI Engineer who can combine strong Java development expertise with practical experience in building and integrating AI-powered solutions. You will work on enterprise applications where AI capabilities are integrated into scalable backend systems, APIs, and business workflows.

What Youll Work On :

- Build and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.

- Develop AI-powered features and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.

- Work with AI/ML, Generative AI and LLM-based use cases.

- Develop APIs and services that connect AI components with Java applications.

- Evaluate AI models and select appropriate approaches based on business requirements.

- Build reliable, production-ready AI integrations and workflows.

- Optimize application and AI solution performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot technical issues across application and AI components.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to convert requirements into practical solutions.

Required Skills :

- 3 - 5 years of professional Java development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java.

- Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence / AI solutions.

- Exposure to Machine Learning, Generative AI or LLMs.

- Experience integrating AI capabilities with backend applications.

- Good understanding of API-based application development.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Spring Boot / REST APIs.

- Experience with LLM APIs and AI application development.

- NLP or Deep Learning exposure.

- Experience taking AI-enabled features to production.

- Knowledge of cloud-based AI services.
