Role Overview :
The Lead - IT (Security, Operations & Data Privacy) will own the organization's internal technology landscape across IT Infrastructure, Cloud Cost Optimization (FinOps), AI-driven productivity initiatives, Information Security, and Data Privacy. The role focuses on building secure, scalable, and efficient systems that enable teams to operate effectively while maintaining strong governance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities :
IT Infrastructure & Endpoint Management :
- Manage the lifecycle of laptops, desktops, network devices, and office IT infrastructure.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for secure endpoint provisioning.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding of employees through automated device management.
Cloud Cost Optimization & FinOps :
- Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure costs across AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through workload optimization and resource right-sizing.
- Track cloud spend, usage trends, and SaaS licensing costs.
- Implement FinOps best practices to improve operational efficiency.
AI-Driven Productivity & Automation :
- Evaluate and deploy GenAI, Copilot, and automation tools to improve organizational productivity.
- Identify operational processes that can be automated using AI and modern technology solutions.
- Drive adoption of productivity-enhancing technologies across teams.
Information Security & Data Privacy :
- Design and implement Zero-Trust security frameworks.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint security, and incident response processes.
- Establish security controls aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and applicable data privacy regulations.
- Develop automated security and compliance guardrails.
- Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
Vendor & Technology Partner Management :
- Manage relationships with hardware vendors, software providers, and SaaS partners.
- Oversee procurement, licensing, renewals, and vendor performance.
- Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluate and integrate third-party technology solutions.
Required Experience & Skills :
- 6- 8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Information Security, and FinOps.
- Strong hands-on experience with endpoint management, networking, and IT operations.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.
- Knowledge of IAM, endpoint security, incident response, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and data privacy compliance requirements.
- Experience implementing MDM and device management solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to AI, GenAI, automation tools, and productivity platforms.
- Experience managing technology vendors and software licensing.
