Role Overview:

As an IT Audit Manager based in Mumbai, you will lead comprehensive assessments of information technology environments to ensure operational integrity and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including CIOs and Risk Committees, to translate complex technical risks into actionable business insights. Your efforts will directly influence the robustness of our clients' internal control frameworks, safeguarding their digital assets and ensuring that IT governance aligns with broader organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end IT audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting, to provide assurance on the effectiveness of technical controls for diverse client portfolios.

- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls, and cybersecurity frameworks to mitigate operational and financial risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control gaps and recommend pragmatic, risk-based solutions that enhance system security and data integrity.

- Monitor emerging technology trends and regulatory requirements to proactively update audit programs and maintain compliance with industry standards.

- Present audit findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and audit committees to facilitate informed decision-making regarding risk management.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in conducting IT audits across complex ERP environments, cloud infrastructures, and network security architectures.

- Strong analytical capability to interpret technical data and communicate complex risk narratives clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven ability to manage multiple audit projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professional skepticism.

- Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM, complemented by a strong academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Finance.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate sensitive audit discussions and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within client organizations.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site client engagements in Mumbai with remote analytical work.
