Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Java Security & Vulnerability Remediation Developer to strengthen application security by identifying, analyzing, and resolving vulnerabilities across enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Java development expertise along with hands-on experience in vulnerability remediation, secure coding practices, and application security.

You will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure applications meet security standards while maintaining performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and remediate application security vulnerabilities identified through security scans and assessments.

- Implement secure coding practices across Java-based applications.

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Resolve vulnerabilities related to :

- OWASP Top 10

- SAST Findings

- DAST Findings

- Open Source Dependency Risks

- Security Compliance Requirements

- Collaborate with security teams to prioritize and address critical security issues.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term remediation solutions.

- Develop and enhance microservices-based applications.

- Optimize application performance and reliability while implementing security fixes.

- Participate in code reviews with a focus on secure development practices.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with security scanning tools such as :

- SonarQube

- Checkmarx

- Veracode

- Fortify

- Snyk

- Exposure to DevSecOps practices.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
