About the Role :

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who is excited to build world-class healthcare products from the ground up. If scaling products 0- 1, designing high-impact architectures, and building diverse, high-performing teams excites you, you're a strong fit. This is a greenfield opportunity to lay down the engineering vision, shape our technical culture, and influence lives at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the complete engineering cycle : architecture, development, deployment, and scaling of HealthTech products using the MERN stack.

- Build, mentor, and scale a high-calibre engineering team from scratch, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.

- Collaborate with stakeholders in product, UX, and business to translate ambitious ideas into robust, scalable software solutions.

- Define and drive the adoption of modern engineering practices-including AI/GenAI tools, cloud-native solutions (AWS/Azure), and automation.

- Lead by example in implementing best coding practices, ensuring security, performance, and maintainability.

- Set and evolve technical standards and workflows; have the freedom to shape your tech stack and architectural rules.

- Champion continuous improvement, tech learning, and agile problem-solving.

- Stay ahead by exploring new technologies, especially in AI/ML, GenAI, and digital health.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in product-based and fast-paced environments.

- Proven track record of building and scaling products from concept (0) to launch (1) and beyond.

- Strong MERN stack skills (Node.js, React, MongoDB, Express) and cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure.

- Demonstrated success in building, nurturing, and leading diverse engineering teams.

- Exceptional communication, mentorship, and cross-functional leadership skills.

- Experience with AI/GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, CursorAI, etc.) is a huge plus.

- Bachelor's/Master's from Tier 1/Tier 2 institutes highly preferred.

- Previous HealthTech, HealthCare, or regulated industry experience is strongly preferred.

- Passion for building impactful technology-and driving change with a can-do, startup mindset.
