Job Description AI Engineering Lead (Agentic AI Systems)

Role Summary :

We are looking for a highly hands-on AI-native engineering leader who can drive adoption of Agentic AI coding systems across the engineering organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience using AI-assisted development tools to :

- Build production-grade applications

- Improve engineering productivity

- Accelerate delivery cycles

- Optimize AI tooling usage and cost

- Establish scalable AI-native engineering workflows

This is a strongly hands-on Individual Contributor (IC) role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows across teams

- Standardize usage of tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Windsurf, etc.

- Build SOPs/playbooks for effective AI-assisted development

- Optimize AI tooling usage for productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

- Guide teams on scalable architecture and modular engineering practices

- Ensure AI-generated code follows engineering standards and maintainability principles

- Mentor developers on effective prompting, debugging, and AI-native workflows

- Contribute hands-on to architecture, debugging, and development

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory :

- 6 to 10 years of strong software engineering experience

- Strong hands-on Full Stack development expertise

- Proven experience building production-grade systems from scratch

- Practical experience using Agentic AI coding systems in real-world product development

- Strong understanding of scalable architectures and engineering best practices

Technical Expertise :

- Node.js / TypeScript

- React / Next.js

- Python

- APIs & distributed systems

- AWS / GCP / Azure

- Docker & Kubernetes

- PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Redis

- CI/CD systems

Experience With :

- Cursor

- Claude Code

- GitHub Copilot

- Windsurf

- OpenAI Codex workflows

- LangGraph / CrewAI / AutoGen

- AI-assisted debugging and refactoring workflows

What We Are Looking For :

- Someone who has operationalized AI-assisted engineering workflows in real teams

- Strong understanding of balancing speed, maintainability, architecture, and AI tooling cost

- Highly ownership-driven and execution-focused mindset

- Strong architectural and problem-solving skills

- Experience in HealthTech or enterprise SaaS platforms

- Experience building multi-tenant systems

- Exposure to developer productivity engineering
