Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced IoT Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in firmware development, embedded systems, and IoT technologies. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware solutions for connected devices, ensuring reliability, performance, and seamless integration across hardware and software platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- IoT Firmware Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing firmware solutions for embedded and connected device applications.
- Develop and maintain embedded software for IoT-enabled devices.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with end-to-end IoT solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve firmware, embedded software, and device-level issues.
- Optimize firmware for performance, reliability, memory usage, and power efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to embedded firmware development best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to firmware design, implementation, and validation.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging firmware, embedded systems, and IoT technologies.
Key Skills :
- 9+ years of experience in IoT Firmware Development and embedded software engineering.
- Strong expertise in firmware design, development, debugging, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with embedded software development using C/C++.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, RTOS, bootloaders, and device drivers.
- Experience with firmware development tools, debugging methodologies, and embedded development workflows.
- Good knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded processors, and hardware-software integration.
- Experience with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and LoRaWAN.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and collaboration skills.
