Role Description:

The Senior Internet of Things Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end IoT solutions, including device firmware, edge applications, and cloud integration. Responsibilities include:

- Architecting system components, implementing software for embedded platforms and single-board computers, and integrating sensors and communication modules into production-ready hardware.

- Troubleshooting field issues, optimizing performance and reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications.

- Mentoring junior team members, reviewing code and designs, and contributing to best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.

Qualifications:

- Strong Internet of Things (IoT) skills, including experience with connected devices, sensors, communication protocols, and end-to-end IoT solution design.

- Software Development and Programming skills, with proficiency in languages commonly used for embedded and IoT systems (such as C/C++, Python, or similar) and experience with version control and software lifecycle tools.

- Hands-on skills with Raspberry Pi and related single-board computers, including hardware interfacing, OS configuration, and deployment of edge applications.

- Relevant knowledge of electronic components and practical understanding of hardware integration, circuit design, and signal handling.

- Experience with cloud platforms or IoT frameworks (e.g., MQTT, REST APIs, device management platforms) and familiarity with data security and encryption practices.

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, mentor team members, document designs, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

- Prior experience in automotive telematics, embedded systems, or large-scale IoT deployments is an advantage.
