About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced IoT Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting end-to-end IoT platforms, integrating edge devices with cloud ecosystems, and driving digital transformation initiatives across industrial or enterprise environments.

As an IoT Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, business stakeholders, and customers to define solution architecture, technology strategy, and implementation roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect end-to-end IoT solutions, including edge devices, gateways, cloud platforms, analytics, and enterprise integrations.

- Design scalable and secure IoT platforms capable of handling millions of connected devices.

- Define solution architecture, technical standards, and best practices for IoT applications.

- Lead architecture discussions and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.

- Design device communication protocols and messaging frameworks (MQTT, AMQP, CoAP, HTTP, OPC-UA, Modbus, etc.).

- Build cloud-native IoT solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Develop architecture for real-time telemetry, monitoring, predictive analytics, and remote device management.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of IoT ecosystems.

- Define API strategies and integrate IoT platforms with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, MES, and Data Lakes.

- Drive edge computing, digital twin, and AI/ML adoption within IoT platforms.

- Conduct architecture reviews, proof of concepts, and technology evaluations.

- Mentor engineering teams and establish engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 15+ years of software engineering experience with at least 7-10 years in IoT architecture.

- Hands-on experience building enterprise-scale IoT solutions.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and event-driven systems.

- Experience in Industrial IoT (IIoT), Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy, or Smart Devices is highly preferred.

- Experience with AI/ML-enabled IoT solutions is an added advantage.

- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or IoT are desirable.
