Job Summary :
We are hiring a skilled Software Developer with deep expertise in C# and Excel Add-in development.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building advanced Excel-based solutions using VSTO and . NET technologies.
You must have hands-on experience designing scalable applications, strong command of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), and familiarity with design patterns to create robust, maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain Excel Add-ins using C# and VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office).
- Build custom Excel functionalities, UIs, and automation tools tailored to business needs.
- Design modular, extensible architectures using OOPS and appropriate design patterns.
- Participate in solution design and architecture discussions to provide efficient and scalable solutions.
- Debug and resolve issues related to Excel integration, performance, and COM interoperability.
- Integrate Excel add-ins with backend services or databases via APIs or direct connections.
- Ensure high-quality coding standards and perform unit testing and documentation.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :
- Experience with Windows Forms or WPF for building user interfaces within Excel Add-ins.
- Understanding of VBA and experience migrating VBA-based solutions to C#.
- Exposure to Agile methodology, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating Excel Add-ins with web services.
