YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- As a Senior Software Engineer, the primary purpose of the role is to Develop, drive and implement solutions.

- To drive and continuously improve the tools and process that automate the delivery of code through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines which include the build, the testing and deployment capabilities of these pipelines.

- Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.

- Apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.

- Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform.

- Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements.

- Lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity.

- Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features.

- Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.

- Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.

- Actively participate in On-Call rosters from time to time to own resolution of any critical issues, ensuring the seamless operation of our systems, products and platforms.

- Analyze business objectives and translate requirements to technical implementation components.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- 7+ Years of experience in building REST APIs.

- Application development experience using a modern language such as TypeScript and REST APIs.

- Well versed with microservice architecture and good hands-on coding in Spring Boot.

- Experience in Java/J2EE.

- Serverless Computing using AWS (AWS lambda, API gateway, IAM Roles & Policy, SQS, SNS, Dynamo).

- NodeJS based backend application development experience with TypeScript.

- Experience in Test Automation Frameworks-Selenium, Cucumber.

- Sound knowledge of OAuth2 and mTLS.

- Infrastructure as code using AWS CDK/Terraform/CloudFormation/SST.

- Experienced in working in a DevOps environment and contributing to the CI-CD pipeline.

- Microservices architecture, Design Patterns and best practices in software programming.

- Working knowledge on Pub-Sub and Streaming technologies such as SQS, SNS, Kafka and Kinesis.

- Monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch.

- Experienced in performance tuning while building high throughput and resilient applications.

- SDLC with Agile methodology.

- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Banking and Payments domain knowledge.

- Fargate and EKS.

- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.

- Working knowledge of GenAI and / or Agentic AI.
