Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to drive product development for Injala's InsurTech and risk-management solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, UX, engineering, and QA teams to deliver scalable, customer-focused products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business and customer needs.
- Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, UX/UI, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Translate complex insurance and risk-management workflows into simple digital solutions.
- Gather customer and stakeholder feedback and convert insights into product improvements.
- Support product roadmap, release planning, and feature prioritization.
- Track product KPIs and use data to drive product decisions.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI, integrations, and process improvements.
- Communicate product priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 5-8 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and product development lifecycle.
- Excellent backlog management, prioritization, and requirement-gathering skills.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Ability to understand technical concepts, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to have:
- Experience in Insurance/InsurTech, Risk Management, B2B SaaS, AI/Automation, or other regulated domains.
