Solution Architect MEAN Stack / AWS Serverless

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect MEAN Stack / AWS Serverless to design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and serverless solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, AWS Serverless services, API architecture, and modern engineering practices, along with the ability to provide technical leadership across multiple development squads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable, secure, highly available, and performant web and serverless applications.

- Define solution architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and technology approaches for complex business requirements.

- Provide technical leadership to multiple development squads across design, reusability, performance, scalability, and engineering best practices.

- Design serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

- Define and govern RESTful API architecture and ensure APIs are scalable, secure, maintainable, and reliable.

- Drive adoption of AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM) and infrastructure-as-code practices.

- Establish serverless deployment, monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting strategies.

- Define CI/CD architecture and deployment standards using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

- Review technical designs, architecture documents, code, and technology decisions.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and operational readiness.

- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.

- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex technical issues.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, business, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Mentor developers and technical leads and guide teams on architecture and engineering best practices.

- Drive technology modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of software development experience with significant experience in solution architecture.

- Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js.

- Extensive experience designing AWS Serverless architectures.

- Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

- Hands-on experience with AWS SAM.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, distributed systems, and scalable application architecture.

- Experience with serverless deployment strategies, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps or similar tools.

- Experience with unit testing, automated testing, code reviews, and quality engineering practices.

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
