Role Overview:

Infosys STG is looking for an accomplished AI/ML Technologist with deep hands-on experience in designing and building enterprise-grade AI products and platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong foundations in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and NLP with the ability to identify business problems, define AI solution architecture, build models hands-on, and take solutions toward production.

Key Responsibilities:

AI/ML Solution Engineering:

- Identify high-value opportunities where AI/ML and Deep Learning can solve complex business and engineering problems.

- Design and develop end-to-end ML solutions from problem formulation through model development and deployment.

- Build scalable solutions using supervised, unsupervised and self-supervised learning approaches.

- Perform feature engineering, experimentation, model evaluation and optimization.

- Convert research concepts and prototypes into enterprise-grade AI products.

Deep Learning & Computer Vision:

- Develop solutions using CNNs, Transformers, Autoencoders and other deep-learning architectures.

- Build advanced Computer Vision solutions involving object detection, tracking, classification, segmentation, and industrial automation.

- Apply transfer learning and foundation models to real-world vision problems.

NLP & Generative AI:

- Design NLP solutions for text classification, semantic similarity, document recommendation, clustering, and information retrieval.

- Hands-on experience with Transformers, BERT, embeddings, and Large Language Models.

- Experience with fine-tuning / PEFT, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph or similar frameworks is preferred.

MLOps & Production AI:

- Develop ML pipelines covering data preparation, training, validation, deployment and monitoring.

- Implement model lifecycle management using MLflow or similar MLOps platforms.

- Deploy ML workloads on cloud environments.

AI Architecture & Technical Leadership:

- Define technical architecture and long-term roadmap for AI solutions.

- Evaluate alternative ML/DL approaches and make architecture decisions based on accuracy, scalability, latency and cost.

- Remain hands-on with model development while providing technical leadership and mentoring AI/ML engineers.

- Collaborate with engineering, research, product and business stakeholders.
