Role Overview :

Infosys STG is looking for a Senior Technologist - .NET Full Stack who can architect, design, and build sophisticated, scalable digital platforms using .NET, React, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and modern engineering practices.

This is a deeply technical, hands-on role for an engineer who can move seamlessly from system design and architecture to code, solve complex engineering problems, establish technology standards, and influence engineering teams.

Experience using AI-assisted / AI-augmented software engineering practices to accelerate development, testing, debugging, modernization, or developer productivity will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & System Design :

- Architect highly scalable, resilient and maintainable enterprise-grade applications.

- Own High-Level Design (HLD) and contribute to detailed Low-Level Design (LLD).

- Define application architecture across frontend, backend, APIs, microservices, data and integration layers.

- Make technology and architecture decisions based on scalability, performance, security and maintainability.

- Design solutions for distributed systems, API-driven platforms and asynchronous/event-driven architectures.

- Drive architecture reviews, design reviews and technical governance.

Backend & Microservices Engineering :

- Design and build high-performance services using C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core and Web APIs.

- Architect independently deployable and scalable microservices.

- Apply appropriate distributed-system patterns such as:

1. API Gateway

2. Event-driven architecture

3. Caching

4. Resilience patterns

5. Observability

6. Containerization

- Work with messaging/event platforms such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ or equivalent technologies.

- Drive API design standards, security and performance optimization.

Frontend Engineering :

- Architect and build modern applications using React, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

- Define scalable frontend architecture, component design and state-management approaches.

- Establish reusable UI patterns and engineering standards.

- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility and user experience.

- Ensure effective integration between React applications and backend APIs/microservices.

Cloud & Platform Engineering :

- Design and develop cloud-native applications, preferably on Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud platforms.

- Work with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Promote CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, automated testing, observability and DevSecOps practices.

- Design for reliability, scalability and production readiness.

Engineering Leadership :

- Remain hands-on with architecture, design, coding and technical problem solving.

- Mentor architects, leads and senior engineers.

- Establish coding standards, reusable frameworks and engineering best practices.

- Conduct architecture, design and code reviews.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into practical engineering solutions.

- Influence engineering practices across multiple teams without relying on direct reporting structures.

- Build prototypes and Proofs of Concept to validate new architectural approaches.
