About the Role:
As Data & Analytics Product Owner, you will play a key role in delivering both the IT & Data mission to deeply understand end-user needs and own the vision and roadmap of the product mandated by the organization and stakeholders to make this vision a reality.
Technical Skills Required:
- Master's in CS / Engineering / Statistics / IT / Information Systems
- 10+ years of total experience; 5-7 years in Data Product Management, agile, and full product lifecycles
- Fluent in English
- Proven Data Product Management track record (5-7 years) in agile setups, defining product vision, and collaborating with engineering teams
- Ability to run SQL queries independently
- Strong understanding of data architecture patterns, data engineering best practices, and data science techniques
- Business maturity with experience in large-scale organizational challenges
- Excellent leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge in Cycles & Procurement applied to FMCG (source to pay, supplier management, risk management)
- Knowledge in Sustainability applied to FMCG is a strong plus
- Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, Data Catalog, and Data Quality frameworks is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision and strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
- Backlog management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Requirement Gathering and Refinement: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Release Planning and Road-mapping: Plan and prioritize releases and manage the global roadmap.
- Plan & Review: Plan work with the squad and demonstrate completed work to stakeholders.
- Dependency management: Identify and manage dependencies impacting product success.
- Stakeholders engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between squad members and stakeholders.
- Acceptance criteria definition: Provide clear guidelines for release readiness.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Data strategy and vision: Derive tactical and strategic roadmaps aligned with IT & Data, emphasizing scalability and standardization.
- Data product development: Lead the squad by defining a vision, priorities, and methodologies, driving KPIs, and managing the product lifecycle.
- Data governance and infrastructure: Manage data governance processes to ensure reliability, consistency, and quality.
