Role Overview :

As an Informatica PC Admin at Infosys, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Informatica PowerCenter environments. You will collaborate closely with development teams, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of our data integration processes. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our data pipelines, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and upgrade Informatica PowerCenter environments to maintain optimal performance and stability.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime for data integration processes.

- Manage user access and security permissions to safeguard sensitive data and comply with security policies.

- Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity.

- Collaborate with development teams to provide technical guidance and support for Informatica PowerCenter development and deployment.

- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

- Apply patches and fixes to address vulnerabilities and maintain system security.

- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and support.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to administer and maintain Informatica PowerCenter environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

- Proven expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Informatica PowerCenter.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database technologies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams and other stakeholders.

- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptable to working in a hybrid work environment based in Hyderabad.

- 3-8 years of experience in Informatica PC Admin.
