Hiring : Senior Firmware Engineer - OpenBMC Developer

Experience : 7+ Years

We are looking for experienced OpenBMC Developers with strong expertise in Embedded Linux, C++, Yocto, networking protocols, and BMC firmware development.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong experience in OpenBMC development

- Embedded Linux and C/C++ programming

- Yocto Project, Buildroot, and device driver development

- Hands-on with D-Bus, sdbusplus, systemd, and dbus services

- Device Tree configuration (DTS/DTSI) for SGPIO, I2C, SPI, GPIO

- Networking protocols such as IPMI and Redfish

- Security implementation including TPM, Secure Boot, and measured boot

- U-Boot and bootloader customization

- Experience writing SystemD services and daemons

- Strong debugging and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Ability to independently drive tasks to closure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience :

- Platform Manageability architecture and Baseboard Management Controllers (BMC)

- Silicon, firmware, hardware, and software integration

- BIOS/OpenBMC firmware bring-up and validation

- Semiconductor industry experience

- DDR3/DDR4/DDR5/HBM memory experience

- Firmware quality, validation, and proof-of-concept development

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, debug, validate, and verify OpenBMC firmware/BIOS

- Participate in hands-on firmware and software development

- Collaborate with Platform, Hardware, Silicon Validation, and Engineering teams

- Drive issue triage, debugging, and resolution across teams

- Support SOC bring-up and embedded feature validation

- Develop early enablement software POCs for new technologies
