Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong AWS and Enterprise Integration expertise to design and modernize large-scale integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on architecture experience across APIs, A2A, B2B/EDI, event-driven, batch, file-based, and cloud-native integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end enterprise integration and solution architectures across AWS, on-premise, and hybrid environments.

- Assess legacy integration platforms and define modernization and migration strategies.

- Design integration patterns for APIs, A2A, B2B/EDI, events, messaging, batch, SFTP/AS2, and data integration.

- Develop Current-State, Target-State and North Star Architecture.

- Define API, messaging, transformation, orchestration, routing, error-handling, retry and monitoring patterns.

- Design scalable and secure solutions using AWS cloud-native integration services.

- Define architecture for trading partner onboarding, EDI processing, mapping, acknowledgements, certificate management and transaction monitoring.

- Evaluate integration platforms and recommend appropriate technologies based on business and technical requirements.

- Define security, scalability, availability, resiliency and observability requirements.

- Lead architecture workshops and provide technical direction to engineering teams.

- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Application, Data, Security, Infrastructure and DevOps teams.

- Create architecture diagrams, High-Level Designs, technical standards and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Solution/Integration Architecture.

- Strong experience with AWS architecture and cloud-native services.

- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns.

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices and API management.

- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, Kafka, messaging and Pub/Sub.

- Experience with B2B/EDI - X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP and trading partner integration.

- Experience with batch, file-based and data integration.

- Strong understanding of OAuth, OIDC, TLS/mTLS, IAM, certificates, encryption and secrets management.

- Experience with integration modernization and migration programs.

AWS Skills :

- Experience with several of the following : API Gateway | Lambda | EventBridge | SQS | SNS | Step Functions | S3 | Transfer Family | AWS B2B Data Interchange | EKS/ECS | AWS Batch | MWAA/Airflow | RDS | DynamoDB | CloudWatch | IAM | KMS | Secrets Manager.

Integration Platform Experience :

- Experience with one or more of : MuleSoft | Informatica | IBM ACE/IIB | DataStage | Cleo | OpenText | Axway | Boomi | Kafka | AWS Native Integration Services.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.

- Experience migrating legacy middleware/integration platforms to AWS.

- Strong B2B/EDI and Trading Partner Management experience.

- Experience defining North Star integration architecture and modernization roadmaps.

- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

Ideal Candidate :

- We are looking for a Solution Architect who understands integration end-to-end, rather than an architect focused only on infrastructure.

- The candidate should be able to assess an existing integration landscape, identify the appropriate modernization pattern, select suitable AWS or integration-platform capabilities, and define a scalable target architecture covering A2A, APIs, B2B/EDI, events, batch and data integration.
