Embedded Linux Developer

Location : Malaysia

Experience : 4 -10 Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain Embedded Linux platforms.

- Perform BSP (Board Support Package) development and board bring-up activities for new hardware platforms.

- Design, develop, debug, and optimize Linux kernel modules and device drivers.

- Work with Device Tree (DTS/DTB), kernel configuration, and Linux bootloader/boot process.

- Analyze and resolve system-level issues related to hardware-software integration.

- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and application teams to deliver robust embedded solutions.

- Support performance tuning, system debugging, and product deployment activities.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Embedded Linux Development.

- Hands-on expertise in BSP development and board bring-up.

- Deep understanding of Linux Kernel internals and device driver development.

- Experience with Device Tree (DTS/DTB), kernel configuration, and Linux boot sequence.

- Strong proficiency in C programming.

- Good experience with Linux Shell Scripting.

- Experience working with embedded processors, SoCs, and hardware interfaces.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with U-Boot or other bootloaders.

- Knowledge of Yocto Build System or Buildroot.

- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.

- Experience in ARM-based embedded platforms.

Candidate Profile :

- 5 - 10 years of professional experience in Embedded Linux development.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative global environment.
