Job Summary :

We are seeking a logically astute individual with a strong numbers acumen to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex business problems, contributing to business strategy, and leveraging data to drive decision-making. The ability to think critically and put forward with data-driven insights will be key to success in this role. This role requires proficiency in data analysis tools such as MS Fabric, R/Python, SQL and Excel. The individual is expected to be self-driven, with a keen eye to identify improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze complex business data to derive actionable insights, trends, and opportunities within the aviation sector.

- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and contribute to problem-solving through data.

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform analysis, and communicate findings effectively.

- Identify areas for process improvements and help implement data-backed solutions that contribute to the company's overall goals.

- Engage in discussions and debates with the team and stakeholders to challenge assumptions, propose innovative solutions, and facilitate decision-making.

- Continuously develop a strong understanding of the aviation industry trends, challenges, and regulatory environment

- Bring outside-in perspectives from other industries and geographies to innovate solutions for IndiGo

Key Qualifications :

Education :

- Masters candidate: MBA or MSc / MS In analytics, statistics, economics, mathematics or finance (1-2 years of work experience)

- Bachelors candidates: Degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Business (3-5 years of work experience)

- Premier institute candidates strongly preferred.

Skills :

1. Experience of using MS Fabric platform

2. Proficiency in data handling and analysis tools like R/Python, and some experience on Excel.

3. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

4. Ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through dashboard (PowerBI preferred) and presentations.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
