Impetus - Generative AI Engineer

Role : Generative AI Engineer

Experience : 3-5 years

Locations : Bangalore / Gurgaon / Indore / Noida / Pune / Chennai

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.

- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform.

- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and keen attention to detail.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy generative AI applications using Python and cloud-based AI/ML services.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications for GenAI solutions.

- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in generative AI, LLMs, and related technologies.

- Build and integrate APIs and services to enable seamless interaction between GenAI models and existing systems.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and debug application issues to ensure high performance and reliability.

- Develop and maintain unit test cases to ensure code quality and robustness.

Good-to-Have Skills & Experience :

- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.

- Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and implementations.

- Familiarity with LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks.

- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud.
