We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead Python & AI/ML to drive the development of scalable systems and intelligent solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python, system design, and artificial intelligence/machine learning, along with proven leadership experience.

This role involves leading a development team, designing robust architectures, building AI-powered applications, and delivering high-impact automation and data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

AI/ML and Intelligent Systems :

- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and pipelines for real-world business applications.

- Build and integrate LLM-based solutions such as chatbots, knowledge assistants, and internal tools.

- Work with natural language processing, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval-based systems.

- Evaluate and continuously improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.

System Design and Development :

- Architect and build scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems using Python.

- Design APIs and microservices for AI-driven applications.

- Ensure high performance, reliability, and system scalability.

Automation and Internal Tools :

- Develop automation solutions for business workflows and processes.

- Build internal tools and platforms to improve operational efficiency.

- Identify opportunities for optimization through automation and AI.

Team Leadership :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Python and AI/ML developers.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.

- Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement :

- Work closely with product, business, and DevOps teams to define and deliver solutions.

- Translate business requirements into technical implementations.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

MLOps and Deployment :

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production environments.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage the model lifecycle.

- Work with containerization and orchestration tools to enable scalable deployments.

Required Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 5 to 8+ years of experience in Python development.

- Strong understanding of system design and backend architecture principles.

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

- Experience with LLMs and generative AI tools.

- Familiarity with vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, or Weaviate.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks.

- Experience with automation tools such as Airflow, Celery, or similar.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Proven experience leading and mentoring development teams.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

- Strong ownership and decision-making capabilities.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills :

- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.

Good to Have :

- Experience building AI-driven internal tools or copilots.

- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

- Exposure to model fine-tuning or advanced prompt engineering.

- Experience in product-based environments.
