Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the Core Platform Extension department. With a strong background in backend development, you will guide a team of 7-8 engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and driving business outcomes. Your role is pivotal in defining and executing engineering strategies, fostering a culture of ownership, and partnering with various teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute engineering strategies, aligning with organizational objectives.

- Ensure adherence to system architecture, design standards, and engineering best practices.

- Drive technical excellence, code quality, and platform scalability.

- Partner with Architecture and Product leadership to develop long-term technology roadmaps.

- Own delivery commitments, ensuring reliable release processes and high-quality deployments.

- Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Senior Engineers.

- Build leadership pipelines and succession plans, fostering talent management.

- Establish engineering metrics and improve operational processes and automation.

- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, Security, and Data.

- Act as a key stakeholder in enterprise initiatives, enabling collaboration.

Qualification :

- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership/management roles.

- Strong backend development experience in Dotnet and C#.

- Proven ability to manage multiple teams or managers.

- Experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade systems.

- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

- Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is preferred.

- Proficiency in C# DotNet, SQL, React, CI/CD, and automation frameworks is an asset.

- Exposure to data platforms, distributed systems, or AI platforms is advantageous.

- Experience leading transformation or modernization initiatives is desirable.

- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to deep dive into complex issues.
