Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IBM Middleware Developer with strong hands-on expertise in IBM DataPower, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM MQ/MFT, and IBM API Connect (APIC).

The candidate will be responsible for middleware development, production support, troubleshooting complex integration issues, RCA, automation, and maintaining enterprise integration environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in DataPower B2B Gateway, MPGW, Web Service Proxy, XSLT transformations, XML/JSON, certificates, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide development, maintenance, and production support for enterprise middleware components.

- Troubleshoot and resolve different types of job abends, including data-related issues and code/configuration bypass scenarios.

- Take ownership of complex production incidents and provide detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

- Independently handle middleware development activities while collaborating with Business and IT teams.

- Develop and maintain SOPs, SUDs, process documentation, and operational procedures.

- Support emergency production issues and provide technical assistance during critical incidents.

- Work on middleware enhancements, automation, and process improvements.

- Provide backup support for development and production activities when required.

Technical Responsibilities IBM DataPower:

- Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower B2B Gateway.

- Configure and manage B2B Partner Profiles and Services, Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPGW), Web Service Proxies, and Firewalls.

- Develop and configure message transformations using XSLT.

- Implement JSON to XML, XML to JSON, and JSON to SOAP transformations.

- Create and work with XML Schema (XSD), JSON Schema, and WSDL.

- Develop and maintain XSLT transformations.

- Configure and troubleshoot DataPower services, perform restarts, and end-to-end validation.

- Manage and update certificates, keys, and passwords for Front Side Handlers.

- Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, transformation, and routing issues.

- Support DataPower configuration changes across development, testing, and production environments.

IBM Integration Bus (IIB):

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

- Develop, deploy, and support integration flows.

- Troubleshoot message flows and production issues.

- Work with different integration patterns and message formats.

- Perform deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Analyze integration failures and provide RCA.

IBM MQ / MFT:

- Hands-on experience with IBM MQ.

- Knowledge of queue managers, queues, channels, and message flow troubleshooting.

- Experience supporting IBM MQ / Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments.

- Troubleshoot message delivery, connectivity, and transfer failures.

- Monitor and resolve MQ/MFT production issues.

IBM API Connect (APIC):

- Experience with IBM API Connect (APIC).

- Develop, configure, publish, and manage APIs.

- Support API security, policies, routing, and integrations.

- Troubleshoot API-related production issues.

- Work with enterprise API management and middleware integration requirements.

Required Technical Skills:

- 6+ years of overall IT experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataPower, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM MQ, IBM MFT, and IBM API Connect (APIC).

- Strong DataPower B2B Gateway experience, including MPGW and Web Service Proxy.

- Strong knowledge of XSLT, XSD, WSDL, XML, and JSON.

- Experience with JSON/XML/SOAP transformations, certificates, keys, and Front Side Handlers.

- Strong production support, troubleshooting, and RCA experience.
