About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong hands-on experience in Laravel or Symfony frameworks to join our development team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust, scalable, high-performance web applications and APIs.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding product managers, designers, and DevOpsto deliver clean, secure, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and RESTful APIs using Laravel or Symfony.

- Build reusable, clean, and modular code aligned with best practices (SOLID, OOP).

- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication systems, and external services.

- Design efficient database schemas using MySQL/PostgreSQL.

- Optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance and scalability.

- Handle backend logic, caching, queues, and job scheduling using tools like Redis, RabbitMQ, or Laravel Queues.

- Participate in architectural decisions and solution design.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, unit testing, and documentation.

- Conduct peer code reviews to maintain high code quality and minimize defects.

- Optimize application performance at code, database, and infrastructure layers.

- Implement security best practices including data validation, user authentication, authorization, and protection against common threats (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection).

- Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to implement pixel-perfect, user-centric designs.

- Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and deploy timely fixes.

- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing applications.

- Maintain documentation for features, releases, and technical FAQs.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming experience in PHP 7/8.

- Expertise in Laravel and/or Symfony frameworks.

- Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, REST APIs, microservices, and design patterns.

- Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL, query optimization, and schema design.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks (Vue.js/React) is a plus.

- Familiarity with Composer, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest is an advantage.

- Knowledge of Docker, containerization, and DevOps tools is a plus
