Job Description

The role :

We're hiring a Growth Engineer in Bangalore to design, build and ship the experiments that turn visitors into booked patients, and patients into loyal advocates.

This is an engineering role with a growth brain. You'll own the code behind our acquisition and conversion surfaces end to end : the patient booking funnel first and foremost, plus landing pages, referrals and attribution. You'll work closely with our Growth, Marketing, Product and Data teams in the US, and you'll have real autonomy to spot opportunities and ship tests without waiting for a spec. And you'll work AI-first, using agents and LLMs to ship and learn faster than a team twice our size.

If you get a kick out of a 3% lift in conversion, love instrumenting things properly, and aren't above a scrappy hack when it's the fastest way to learn, this is for you.

What you'll work on :

The booking funnel is the main job. Expect to spend roughly half your time here. You'll own the patient booking flow end to end, from insurance check through quiz and intake, dietitian matching and checkout to a first appointment booked. You'll run a constant stream of A/B tests on quiz flows, intake questions, matching logic, coverage messaging and checkout steps, find where people drop off, and fix it.

The rest of your time goes to the surfaces that feed and amplify the funnel :

- Landing page testing. Build and iterate on high-converting landing pages in Framer for paid, SEO, partner and condition-specific traffic (diabetes, PCOS, weight management and more). Make sure every variant flows cleanly into the booking funnel.

- AI and agentic work. We want growth built AI-first. Use LLMs and agents to generate and personalise landing page and quiz variants, automate experiment setup and analysis, and build internal agents that let the growth team launch tests without waiting on engineering. You'll also lean on coding agents daily to ship faster yourself.

- Referral flows. Build and optimise referral loops for patients, dietitians and clinicians (including our Refer a Patient flow). Experiment with incentives, sharing mechanics and onboarding for referred users.

- Attribution. Make sure we know what's actually working. Own event tracking, UTM hygiene, server-side conversion APIs and the data plumbing that connects ad spend to booked and attended visits, all handled in a HIPAA-conscious way.

- General growth hacking. Find unconventional ways to grow. That might mean an internal tool that speeds up experiment launches, a programmatic SEO play, a clever partner integration, or a quick script that unblocks the marketing team.

What success looks like :

1. First 30 days :

- You know the booking funnel inside out, have audited our tracking and attribution, and have shipped your first experiment.

2. First 90 days :

- You're running a steady cadence of tests across the funnel and landing pages, and we have a trusted view of conversion by channel.

3. First 6 months :

- You've built the experimentation and landing page tooling that lets the whole growth team move faster, and you've launched at least one new referral loop or AI-powered growth workflow.

4. First year :

- Measurable, compounding gains in booking conversion and referral-driven growth that you can point to.

What we're looking for :

- 5+ years as a software engineer, with at least some of that spent on growth, conversion or consumer-facing product work.

- Strong full-stack skills, especially modern frontend (React, Next.js, TypeScript or similar) and enough backend to build your own APIs, events and integrations.

- An AI-first way of working : you use coding agents every day and have shipped features or internal tools built on LLMs.

- Hands-on experience running A/B tests with an experimentation or feature-flag platform. We use GrowthBook.

- Solid analytics instincts : you can set up clean event tracking, write SQL, and tell a real result from noise.

- Familiarity with attribution tooling such as Segment, GA4, and Meta and Google conversion APIs.

- A bias for action. You ship fast, measure honestly and kill losing ideas without ego.

- Clear written communication and comfort working with a US-based team, including a few hours of overlap with US Eastern time. Our team in India tends to work from 12pm to 10pm IST.

Nice to have :

- Experience at a high-growth consumer startup, marketplace or digital health company.

- Exposure to healthcare data and privacy rules such as HIPAA, and how they shape tracking and attribution.

- Experience with Framer (it powers our site and landing pages), or with similar landing page builders and headless CMS setups.

- Experience building agentic systems in production : tool-using agents, evals, or LLM-driven personalisation.

- A track record of building referral or viral loops that measurably moved growth.

- Comfort with product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel or PostHog, and with basic stats for experiment design.

Why join us :

- Real impact. Every point of conversion you win means more people getting care for diabetes, heart disease, eating disorders and more.

- Ownership. You'll be a founding member of our Bangalore engineering presence, with direct influence on how growth is built here.

- Momentum. We're well funded, growing fast, and backed by some of the best investors and operators in consumer health.

- Speed. Small team, AI-first tooling, short feedback loops, and experiments that go live in days.
