The role is part of a forensic practice that partners with government clients to detect, prevent, and proactively mitigate Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) across public sector programs.

The practice focuses on building advanced algorithmic, AI/ML, LLM based and Agentic AI solutions that work within complex government IT ecosystems and integrate with existing legacy and enterprise systems across multiple domains such as :

- Health

- Education

- Skill Development

- Social Welfare & Benefit Schemes

- Other large-scale public sector programs

Role Overview :

We are seeking a senior Technical Leader to own the technical vision, engineering excellence, and delivery governance of AI driven fraud detection and prevention platforms.

This leadership role blends deep hands-on technical expertise with architecture ownership, team leadership, program management, and client engagement. The incumbent will be responsible for taking the technical capabilities of the practice to the next level, directly enabling business growth, solution scalability, and client trust.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Strategy & Capability Building :

- Define and evolve the technical roadmap for AI based fraud, waste, and abuse detection solutions

Standardize and institutionalize best practices across :

- Software development lifecycle (SDLC)

- Coding and algorithm development standards

- Version control, repositories, and branching strategies

- Backup, security, data governance, and resilience practices

- Drive adoption and effective use of advanced AI/ML, LLMs, Agentic AI, and analytical techniques within team

- Promote frugal architecture and solution design to minimize total cost of ownership and implementation cost for government clients

- Understanding of hardware and cloud sizing

Architecture & Solution Design :

- Own the end-to-end technical architecture of solutions, from ingestion to decisioning and reporting

- Design and review:

- Solution architecture documents

- Technical design specifications

- Integration and deployment architectures

- Ensure scalability, performance, security, explainability, and auditability of AI/ML solutions

- Guide teams on integrating with pre-existing government systems, platforms, and enterprise software

Engineering Delivery & Program Management :

- Oversee and manage the entire solution development lifecycle, including:

- Planning and estimation

- Development and QA

- Integration and deployment

- Post-deployment support and enhancements

- Ensure on-time delivery within allocated resources

- Act as the highest technical escalation point for complex delivery challenges

- Travel to project locations to engage with delivery teams and improve quality and velocity

Integration & Data Management :

- Lead solution design involving:

- API-based system integrations

- Data ingestion from multiple heterogeneous sources

- Data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance

- Ensure robust integration with legacy and modern platforms commonly found in government ecosystems

Team Leadership & Talent Development :

- Lead, mentor, and retain large, geographically distributed engineering teams

- Identify skill gaps and drive structured training and upskilling initiatives

- Build strong technical leaders and improve overall engineering maturity

- Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement

Client Engagement & Thought Leadership :

- Engage directly with government clients to:

- Explain technical approaches, methodologies, and architectures

- Lead technical reviews and discussions

- Defend and explain algorithmic outputs and system decisions

- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients

Pre-Sales & Business Growth :

- Support pre-sales and business development activities, including:

- Solution ideation and architecture

- Technical inputs for proposals and RFPs

- Effort estimation and feasibility assessments

- Contribute to growth of the practice by continuously enhancing technical differentiation

Preferred Background :

- Experience in technology consulting, public sector systems, or large-scale enterprise platforms

- Exposure to fraud detection, risk analytics, or compliance-related systems would be preferred

- Experience working with international or government-facing clients
