Head of Engineering - AI Platforms (Lead Engineer for Echo), an enterprise conversational BI platform that converts natural language into SQL across SAP and enterprise data systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for platform architecture, AI/LLM infrastructure, deployment strategy, and engineering team build-out.

The role requires active involvement in coding, system design, and enterprise deployments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own architecture and delivery of Echo's NL-to-SQL, RAG, and orchestration stack

- Lead cloud and on-prem AI deployments including GPU infrastructure, model serving, and security

- Drive technical decisions across LLMs, agents, RAG frameworks, and evaluation systems

- Build and manage the engineering team, code quality, and release processes

- Partner with Product leadership on roadmap and execution planning

- Support enterprise customers during complex technical deployments

Required Experience :

- 10+ years in software engineering with 3+ years leading production systems

- Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, function calling, and hallucination control

- Experience deploying AI workloads in on-prem/GPU-based environments

- Strong coding and architecture ownership experience

- Proven team-building and engineering leadership capability

Preferred Experience :

- Background in BI, analytics, database, or data platform products

- Experience with NL-to-SQL or conversational analytics platforms

- Familiarity with SAP BW, HANA, or S/4

- Open-source or research contributions in AI/LLM systems
