Role Overview :

The Head of Data Science, AI & Analytics will lead Mountwell Global's data science and analytics practice, driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions to our clients. This role involves building and managing a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, and developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions. The Head of Data Science, AI & Analytics will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data-driven offerings and ensuring our clients achieve significant business value through data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute the overall data science and analytics strategy, aligning with the company's business objectives and client needs.

- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Identify and evaluate new data sources and technologies to enhance our analytics capabilities and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into actionable data science projects.

- Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and drive measurable results.

- Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing decision-making at all levels.

- Ensure the quality and integrity of data used in analytics projects, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data science, AI, and analytics, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them for business impact.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Proven expertise in developing and implementing data science and analytics solutions, leveraging a wide range of techniques including machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.

- Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality best practices.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business challenges into actionable data science projects.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating strong self-discipline, communication, and collaboration skills.
