About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Data & AI technology leader with 20+ years of professional experience within the banking and financial services industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in enterprise Data Engineering, Data Platforms and Architecture, combined with substantial technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The individual will be responsible for building, leading and scaling enterprise Data and AI capabilities, driving the development and deployment of production-grade AI solutions and enabling technology-led business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Enterprise Data Leadership

- Lead the development and evolution of enterprise Data platforms and architecture.

- Drive Data Engineering, Data Management and enterprise analytics capabilities.

- Establish scalable and reliable data infrastructure.

- Oversee data governance, quality, security and management practices.

2. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise AI and Machine Learning capabilities.

- Drive the design, development and deployment of production-ready AI/ML solutions.

- Oversee AI Engineering, model deployment and MLOps practices.

- Explore and scale Generative AI capabilities to address business challenges.

- Ensure responsible AI practices, governance and appropriate controls.

3. Technology & Engineering Leadership

- Build, manage and lead high-performing Data and AI engineering teams.

- Take direct ownership of technical platforms, architecture and delivery.

- Establish scalable AI infrastructure and deployment frameworks.

- Work closely with technology and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

4. Business Transformation & Innovation

- Identify opportunities to leverage Data and AI to improve business performance.

- Drive measurable business outcomes through enterprise AI implementations.

- Scale successful AI solutions across business functions.

- Promote innovation while ensuring reliability, scalability and governance.

Required Experience & Expertise :

- 20+ years of overall professional experience.

- Significant experience within banking or financial services.

- Strong background in Data Engineering, Enterprise Data Platforms, Data Architecture or Data Science.

- Substantial technical depth and leadership experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

- Demonstrated experience building and scaling enterprise AI capabilities.

- Proven track record of deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.

- Experience with AI Engineering, MLOps and Responsible AI governance.

- Strong experience managing technical teams and enterprise technology initiatives.

- Ability to demonstrate measurable business outcomes from Data and AI implementations.
