ROLE OVERVIEW :

As a Lead Software Engineer Full Stack, you will lead the design, development and delivery of secure, scalable and high-performing enterprise applications across the user interface, application and data layers.

A hands-on technical leader who leads solution design and technical delivery across workstreams, guides engineers, influences architecture, drives engineering standards and owns the technical quality and production readiness of full-stack solutions.

You will collaborate with product, UX, architecture, DevOps and quality engineering teams, mentor engineers, and drive reliable delivery from design through production support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Education and Certifications :

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.

- Certifications in Java, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes or software architecture are preferred.

Required Experience :

- 7 - 10 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications across front-end and backend technologies.

- At least 2 - 3 years of experience leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers or owning modules/workstreams.

- Proven experience designing, developing and supporting cloud-native full-stack applications in production.

- Experience working with distributed global teams or within a Global Capability Center is an advantage.

Essential Skills :

- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring and Spring Boot for distributed microservices.

- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web design.

- Hands-on expertise in React.js and component-driven architecture; working knowledge of Angular or Vue.js is valuable.

- Experience with state management, reusable UI components, accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility.

- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, domain-driven design, event-driven design and cloud-native deployments.

- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with Kafka/RabbitMQ, asynchronous patterns and distributed transactions.

- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, Hibernate/JPA, caching frameworks and data-access optimization.

- Strong foundation in Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, unit/integration testing, observability and production support.

- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, API security and secure coding practices.

- Ability to review technical designs, influence architecture decisions and mentor engineers in full-stack delivery.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with React Native, micro frontends or server-side rendering.

- Exposure to service mesh, API gateways, distributed tracing and resilience frameworks.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and multi-cloud environments.

- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, SRE principles and engineering process optimization.

- Knowledge of front-end and backend observability, performance profiling and automated quality tooling.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Delivery and Execution :

- Lead end-to-end solution design across multiple work streams and integrations, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and make design decisions considering scalability, resiliency, security, performance and maintainability.

- Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical designs, implementation plans and delivery estimates.

- Build responsive, accessible and reusable user interfaces using React.js, Angular or comparable modern frameworks.

- Design and develop Java 17+ and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs and event-driven integrations.

- Review architecture and design documents, conduct code reviews, and ensure deliverables meet quality and security standards.

- Drive performance optimization across browser, API, application and database layers.

- Ensure production readiness through structured logging, distributed tracing, health checks, metrics and resilience patterns.

- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of complex issues across environments.

Support and Enablement :

- Mentor engineers and promote clean code, test automation, secure coding and consistent engineering standards.

- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, reusable component libraries, runbooks and service catalogs.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates and deployment workflows.

- Partner with UX, product, architecture and backend/frontend teams to ensure cohesive user and system experiences.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to platform modernization, technical roadmaps and architecture decisions.

- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Evaluate technical approaches and make or influence key engineering decisions through documented trade-off analysis covering scalability, maintainability, security, performance and delivery complexity.
