Job Role : Hardware Validation Engineer.
Experience : 7 - 15 Years.
Location : Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform electrical validation and board-level debugging of high-speed digital hardware.
- Review schematics, PCB layouts, and high-speed board designs for design quality and validation readiness.
- Lead high-speed board bring-up and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Validate interfaces including PCIe, DDR, and high-speed serial interfaces.
- Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) issue triaging in collaboration with SI/PI teams.
- Analyze Eye Diagrams, Jitter, TDR, signal quality, and timing characteristics.
- Perform DDR/NAND memory characterization and validation.
- Design, test, and validate switching DC power supplies and power delivery circuits.
- Validate high-speed processor-based designs and associated board-level interfaces.
- Perform noise injection, power-loss, and power-backup circuit measurements.
- Characterize different energy-storage mechanisms and drive-power backup circuits.
- Develop and execute hardware validation plans, test procedures, and debug strategies.
Must-Have Skills :
- 7+ years of experience in Digital Hardware / High-Speed Board Design and Validation.
- Strong experience in Schematic Design, PCB Design, and Design Review.
- Hands-on experience in high-speed board bring-up and board-level debugging.
- Strong experience with PCIe, DDR, and high-speed serial interfaces.
- Experience with electrical validation and signal integrity troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Eye Diagram, Jitter, and TDR measurements.
- Experience with high-speed/high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, power/data analyzers, and memory characterization equipment.
- Strong understanding of DDR/NAND memory testing and characterization.
- Experience in Switching DC Power Supply design and testing.
- Good knowledge of I2C, SPI, and SMBus protocols.
