Senior .NET / C# Developer - Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Experience : 7+ Years.

Location : Bengaluru.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core 6/8 and C#.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Implement unit testing frameworks such as xUnit for backend code and Jest for frontend code to ensure high-quality software.

- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

- Troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement sustainable fixes.

- Support CI/CD automation and DevOps practices for application deployments.

- Contribute to cloud modernization, platform enhancement, and application transformation initiatives.

- Maintain code quality, documentation, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Core 6/8, C#, .NET Framework, and Angular (or React).

- Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Expertise in SQL Server and database design, development, and performance optimization.

- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage (GCS), Secret Manager, Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Cloud Logging & Monitoring, Cloud Workflows, API Gateway, BigQuery, Vertex AI / Vertex AI Search, and Artifact Registry.

- Good understanding of Azure-to-GCP service mapping and cloud-native equivalents.

- Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing using services such as Pub/Sub, Eventarc, Cloud Scheduler, and cloud-based messaging patterns.

- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), IAM, Service Accounts, enterprise SSO integration, identity federation concepts, and identity migration considerations.

- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).

- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or equivalent tools.

- Strong understanding of cloud security, secrets management, monitoring, and observability practices.

- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Proactive attitude to identify and solve problems, drive innovation, and continuously improve solutions.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Exposure to Azure-to-GCP migration projects, including application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

- Familiarity with GCP data orchestration and integration services such as Cloud Composer, Dataflow, or Data Fusion.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

- Exposure to Vertex AI, search/indexing technologies, or AI-enabled solutions.
