Role Overview :

We are seeking a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in application monitoring, observability, and integration, capable of owning application support from development through production. The ideal candidate combines monitoring tool expertise (AppDynamics/Zabbix) with solid programming and API integration skills to support end-to-end application lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using observability tools (AppDynamics, Zabbix or any other tools).

- Onboard new applications onto monitoring platforms and manage tool migrations (e.g., AppD to Zabbix or Similar).

- Design and implement integrations between systems using REST APIs.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python.

- Support the full application lifecycle from development and deployment through production support.

- Manage code effectively, including version control, branching, and release processes.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve incidents and improve system reliability.

- Contribute to root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement in monitoring and support processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience with AppDynamics and/or Zabbix (or similar APM/monitoring tools).

- Strong understanding of observability principles - metrics, logs, tracing, alerting.

- Proficiency in REST API design, integration, and troubleshooting.

- Solid Python programming and scripting skills for automation.

- Experience with code management tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.

- Practical experience supporting applications in production environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently on system-level integration challenges.

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Exposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

- ITIL or incident management process familiarity.
