Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to develop advanced analytical and machine learning solutions that support financial planning and business decision-making. The role involves working with complex datasets, building predictive models, identifying meaningful patterns, and translating analytical findings into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, business patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

- Develop and optimize statistical models and machine learning algorithms to support forecasting, prediction, and data-driven decision-making.

- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, data transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and model reliability.

- Build analytical solutions to support financial planning, performance analysis, and business forecasting.

- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques, and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from large databases.

- Apply Generative AI and large language models to selected analytical use cases, including natural-language data querying and automated insight generation.

- Explore text-to-SQL, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and knowledge graph techniques to improve access to financial data and analytical insights.

- Develop data-driven visualizations and communicate findings through clear, actionable recommendations.

- Collaborate with finance, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models and analytical applications in cloud environments.

- Follow appropriate model validation, monitoring, and lifecycle management practices to ensure reliable performance in production.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

- Strong hands-on experience in data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning.

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries and frameworks.

- Experience working with large datasets, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.

- Knowledge of predictive modeling, forecasting techniques, model evaluation, and performance optimization.

- Strong SQL skills, including complex query development, query optimization, and database performance tuning.

- Experience translating business problems into analytical models and data-driven solutions.

- Understanding of data visualization and communicating analytical results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data and AI application deployment.

- Exposure to Generative AI, NLP, and LLM-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in financial services, financial planning, forecasting, or financial analytics.

- Familiarity with text-to-SQL techniques, RAG architectures, and knowledge graphs.

- Experience integrating hosted or self-hosted large language models into analytical workflows.

- Understanding of MLOps practices, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

- Exposure to AI-driven data visualization and automated insight generation.

- Knowledge of techniques for improving AI application performance, latency, and operational costs.
